Sun story!

There was once a star called the Sun. He provided all the light for all of the planets in the solar system. He had bright yellow hair, and some black shades on. He was the hottest in the solar system. Though he did have places on his skin called sunspots, they are darker then the his full body because they were cooler. He was very self conscious about that. So, when he was made fun of because of the dark spots, he would get angry and have solar flares. Solar flares are sudden explosions on the sun’s photosphere, or surface. His chromosphere, or his bright yellow hair, is the layer above the photosphere. He was closest friends are the inner planets, or Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars. Mercury his closest friend, she always loved him no matter his faults. Venus was the funny one, no matter what, Venus could make him smile. Earth was always the chubby happy one, full of life. Mars was always kind of distant, but when he wanted to be, he could be a great friend. The outer planets were the farthest from the sun. They were cold, and mean. They are Jupiter, the leader, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. The Sun was so jealous of the moon, because Earth was so close to her. The sun was so very jealous that one day the he stepped up to the Earth how he felt. “Earth! You know me and you are so close! I feel like the moon is getting in the way of our friendship,” the Sun explained. Even though Earth did like the Sun, the Earth didn’t want to leave the moon, without him, she couldn’t function right! She couldn’t function without the Sun either, though.  So when the Earth finished her conversation with the Sun, she decided to go talk to the moon about it.

“Hey moon, I need to talk to you,” the Earth told the moon.

“Oh, hi best friend!” The moon exclaimed.

“The Sun said I can’t be friends with you anymore, I don’t know what to do.” Said the moon.

“What?!” asked the moon, “Lets go talk to him!”

So, they ran up to the Sun and asked him about it.

“I don’t know, I just really like being friends with the Earth! I don’t even know you!” The Sun claimed.

“What are you talking about? Without you I wouldn’t be able to light the Earth at night!” The moon said.

“Yeah! You’re extremely important to me, but so is the moon. I care about you both equally,” the Earth told the Sun.

All of the inner planets gathered around and began chanting about how much they cared about the Sun. The Sun began feeling warm and fuzzy inside, and hugged all of the inner planets, and went back to providing sunlight for them. They all lived happily ever after!
